Day 9- Yellow, Blue and Red Teams (Ages 4-11)
Assembly is always a good place to highlight the items in the lost and found box. We still h ave a lot of unclaimed goods, so be sure to stop by on Friday. There was another appearance by Jeff the Sock Puppet, thanks to Diego. Jeff and Jeremy had a great discussion on what it means to be nice and be a good friend. The Afternoon Assembly was full of great jokes, wonderful talents and songs. Cooking Disgust's sunbutter honey banana quesadilla, learning more about tongue/tastebu


Day 9 Green, Orange and Silver Teams (Ages 9-11)

The JCC Perspective (ages 12-15): part 5
"The JCCs are camper counselors that help the campers know how to lead in the community and at home. We help with projects and assembly and we take photos of the campers working together as a team in camp and outdoors. Campers are people that deserve to be treated with respect, care and kindness. JCC’s are people that deserve to be treated with respect, care and kindness. The staff should be treated with respect, care and kindness. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect


Day 8 Green, Orange and Silver Teams (Ages 9-11)
Assembly Rick started the day with an interactive movement story, Herbie the Family Pet. Jeremy the puppet demonstrated interrupting a conversation. Afternoon did the llama song, had a yak Back update from the JCCs, and a cup stacking challenge. Day 7 Green, Orange and Silver Teams (Ages 9-11)
GamesFocus for the day is competing as an individual against others and yourself. Since campers compete as individuals there is waiting involved so the goals were to take turns and help. These were invidula field events: 1) Shot Put 2) Shuttle Run 3) Broad Jump 4) Sprint Campers took turns measuring and recording the results of other competitors.Assembly started with examples of conversations. Day 7- Yellow, Blue and Red Teams (Ages 4-11)
Assembly started with examples of conversations. Campers identified what makes a good conversation and what doesn't. Cooking class made Corn Dog Muffins. They talked about the ingredients and determined what made the recipe sweet and what made it savory. The Theater class engaged in sound and movement games that reflected the theme of conversation and emotions. The Play Class used Soccer and Hot Potato to learn more about conversation.
