Caregiver Connections

 

​Guardians gather Mondays at 10am after camp drop off to discuss caring for youth experiencing disabilities, find support, and make friends for yourself! We're often having a different caring experience than others in our families, communities and friend groups. This can feel challenging and isolating. 

 

Hosted by Board President and long-time camp parent, Cynthia Stinson. Topics have included: successful playdates, navigating school challenges, teaching children safe personal boundaries, middle and high school transitions, and how to find support.
