In an effort to keep the integrity and effectiveness of our special programs such as Special Needs Campers (40), Buddies Intensive (8), Junior Camp Counselors (12), and Yak Apprentice (12) there will be a cap for participants each week, noted in parentheses. Once the cap is reached, a wait list will be generated. Please don’t wait to register because these programs fill up fast!

"Caregiver Connections" Parent Support Meetings
Meets every Monday during camp from 10:00-11:30am! Join us!
Meet with other parents to discuss the highs and lows of parenting a child with special needs. CYY provides the snacks and parent provide the topics, experiences and empathetic ear. Any care provider can attend.
Topics have included: hosting successful playdates, teaching children safe personal boundaries, middle and high school transitions and writing your own social stories to help your child understand social expectations.
Meetings will be held at the camp after camper drop off every Monday. These meetings are hosted by the Camp Board of Directors, not camp staff. It is a wonderful opportunity to connect.
Sorry, we do not have the space or staffing to host childcare for younger siblings who are not attending camp.
For parents who cannot attend the meetings or who want to connect year round join the CYY Parent Connection Facebook group. Just ask to join this private group to post questions and offer ideas to other parents here.
