Fridays always sneak up so fast here at Camp!! We had a totally out-of-this-world week. Between the dancing the Monster Mash, creating alien slime, and building robots, the time simply flew by!! Today in Discovery, JCCs put our rocket creations into action and made movies with the green screen. In the afternoon, we spent time preparing a choreographed dance to perform as a team at the end-of-day talent show. When the time came to demonstrate our hard work, the JCCs did an amazing job collaborating in unison. Buddies had another fun day at Camp! It was great that today was a little cooler! Water play began today! With the help of the OT instructors we played in the water tables stations set up to off set the summer heat! Water is a great way to splash, play and practice social and communication skills while cooling off and having fun. We went to cooking class today and learned how to make alien parfaits. Yum! Yum! Buddies had such a fantastic day today!! During Arts & Crafts we mixed shaving cream and paint for a super fun sensory experience!! We got to mix all sorts of different colors. A few Buddies were hesitant but warmed up to the activity! We also got to go to Cooking class to make MONSTER PIZZAS!!
