Chit Chat
Today we retold the story of the week and want on a Personal Space Walk where we identified different things outside, like trees and cars, that need their own personal space.
Yak Academy
Today we had a group discussion about how to survive on our new, unknown destination planet. We discussed all the different aspects and the different possible scenarios. We focused on group speaking and expression of ideas. Everyone participated and shared their own unique opinions!
Games
Today in games, we went through an obstacle course. There were a few different stations, so we could try out different things. We also got to move our bodies in all different ways.
Cooking
Today in cooking, we got to make pizza planets. Everyone had the chance to try some new foods: veggies on pizza and a base of gluten-free bread! Like always, we used our visual recipe to make our treat. We are practicing independence by trying to do as much of the recipe as we can on our own. Cooking starts with hand washing, and practicing kitchen safety.
Discovery
In Discovery today we followed instructions to create a podracer that we will finish tomorrow, and race.
